Chairman and CEO

Wahab is the Chairman and CEO of Noor Holding. Under his leadership, the family office has become a major investor in companies, funds and markets across the world. He also founded Capitoria and is its Chairman.

Wahab has extensive experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, asset management and restructurings. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, businessman and investor, Wahab is also a dedicated philanthropist.

Wahab served as Chairman and Managing Director of Al-Deera Holding, a company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange which is part of the IFA consortium. He was also the founder and CEO of Univest Group and the Chairman and CEO of FASTtelco. Before that, Wahab was a Vice President at Global Investment House where he structured, analyzed, monitored and placed hedge funds and private equity funds with clients. He also worked at United Gulf Management in Boston where he assisted the management in the structuring and placement of corporate finance transactions, real estate deals and private equity portfolios. Wahab started his career in the Marketing Department of the National Bank of Kuwait.

Over the course of his career, Wahab served on numerous boards. To name but a few, he is currently a member of the boards of Miami International Holdings and JetSmarter. He previously served on the boards of The Chart Group LP, Ithmar Capital, National Gas Company, Omniyaty, International Financial Advisors (IFA), IFA Hotels & Resorts, Abwab Capital (formerly known as Univest Capital), Bag Borrow or Steal, Yotel, BPL Global and the IFA Khaleeji Fund.

Wahab graduated from the University of San Diego in 1994 with a BA in Business Administration.
Rajiv NakaniRajiv Nakani
Chief Investment Officer

Rajiv is a seasoned investment professional with extensive board and management experience and a proven track record of operational excellence, strategic thinking, leadership and financial acumen.
Prior to joining Noor Holding, Rajiv was Managing Partner at Global Capital Management Limited (the alternative asset management arm of Global Investment House Kuwait), where he was responsible for the overall business and oversaw private equity and real estate funds. At Global Capital Management, Rajiv led a team of investment professionals based in Dubai, Istanbul and Kuwait which managed five private equity funds with $1.8 billion in capital and drove growth and turnaround initiatives in key portfolio companies in the MENA region. On behalf of the funds he managed, Rajiv also served as the Acting CEO of Gulf Healthcare International LLC in Dubai leading the company through a restructuring and performance turnaround. Since May 2014, Rajiv also serves as the Executive Director of Xebec Ventures Holding Limited, where he is a principal investor, venture operator and portfolio manager investing in high-growth consumer technology ventures and personal experience brands with global scale. Rajiv is part of the Capitoria team.
Before Global Capital Management, Rajiv was Investment Director at Eastgate Capital Group in Dubai, managing private equity funds with $500 million in capital, sourcing deals and investing in the MENA region and South Asia. Earlier, Rajiv was the Head of Investment Banking at Global Investment House in Kuwait where he led ca. $750 million in proprietary investments and managed transactions aggregating to more than $8.5 billion. During 2003-2004, Rajiv was Director for Mergers and Acquisitions at The Sultan Center Company for Food Products in Kuwait, where he established the private equity platform for the supermarket, retail and F&B sectors and handled the acquisition and integration of strategic assets in the MENA region. Earlier in his career, Rajiv has held research, credit and investment banking roles in India and Kuwait.
During his time as an investment manager and investor, Rajiv has served as a director on the boards of several public and private companies where he represented shareholders and provided valuable insights, contacts and strategic guidance to the management of the companies.
Through his corporate finance, merchant banking, principal investing and private equity career, Rajiv has closed more than 100 transactions and led numerous investments to successful exits, notably KFIC Kuwait, Iskan Kuwait, Al Nouri Teaching Establishment Kuwait, Investcom LLC, Umniah Telecom, DEPA UAE, Evergrande Real Estate HK, Banawi Industrial Group KSA, Gulf Navigation UAE, TAV Airport Holding Turkey, KGL Logistics Kuwait, Kinan Real Estate KSA, Al Rayan Holding Kuwait, Dar Al Tamleek KSA and the diagnostic lab business of Gulf Healthcare International.
Rajiv received his MBA, Master in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics and BSc in Mathematics from leading academic institutions in India. Rajiv is also a CFA charter holder since 2001. He lives in Dubai with his wife and two sons.
Thibault ReicheltThibault Reichelt
Corporate Development Director

Thibault Reichelt is the Corporate Development Director of the Noor Advisory Group. He is responsible for several portfolio matters and collaborates closely with the Capitoria team.
Prior to joining the Noor Advisory Group, Thibault worked for the Abu Dhabi Investment Council as legal counsel. In that role, he covered investments in private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, special situations and hedge funds. Thibault started his career in the private equity and venture capital practice of Kirkland & Ellis and the strategy unit of the CEO Office of Allianz. Thibault has extensive experience in sourcing deals, carrying out due diligence, structuring and negotiating complex transactions, executing business plans and monitoring investments.
Thibault holds a JD from Columbia Law School. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2008 with a MPhil in Management.
